How MRFL Audits & Certifies Humanoid Robots
Every humanoid robot promoted to our certified procurement catalog must have 100% of our 45 required specification fields verified. Prototypes missing independent runtime data, acoustic noise ratings, or confirmed deposit structures remain quarantined in our Weekly Spec Watchlist until verified.
Piezo-Resistive & Tendon Force-Control Verification
To earn our “Wine Glass Safe” dishwashing certification, a humanoid's end-effectors must demonstrate closed-loop tactile or tendon torque regulation below 2.0 Newtons of clamping force on wet borosilicate and crystal stemware without slip or fracture.
Nighttime Bedroom & Living Room Noise Benchmarking
Actuator gear whine is a critical dealbreaker for families. We log A-weighted sound pressure levels (dBA) at a 1.0-meter distance during both 1.0 m/s walking gait and bimanual manipulation. Models under 42 dBA (such as 1X NEO at 38 dBA) qualify for overnight laundry and dish runs.
Doorway Width (cm), Riser Climb & Vertical Reach
We measure dynamic shoulder-plus-elbow sway width (ranging from 54 cm on 1X NEO to 64 cm on Electric Atlas) against standard residential doorways, maximum vertical wrist reach (175 to 220 cm), and sustained bipedal stair payload capacity on 18 cm risers.
Standardized 173.33 Hours/Month Financial Modeling
All hourly and per-task costs on MRFL are standardized on a 40-hour workweek (2,080 hours/year = 173.33 hours/month), combining factory RaaS or 7.9% APR equipment amortization with active kW electricity draw at $0.14/kWh USD.
